When does college football start?
For years I did not care about sports that much. I sorta followed how the Orioles and the Cowboys did from year to year but I did not really care. The only sport I ever really got into was Ultimate Frisbee. Of course that was just games with friends. Then I came to Va Tech and found college football. When I first came here we still lost most of our games. We had the nick name Chokies because we could be up 35-0 going into the fourth quarter and still lose the game. But even then I started to catch the bug. Now I have it bad. Ok, I am not so bad that I know the names and positions of all the players. Ok, I don’t know any of their names (except the main player) but I love watching the games. I was fine until I watched the Spring game a few weeks ago. Tonight Maryland’s spring game was on TV and I watched the entire second half. I could care less about Maryland but I had to see college ball. Man I have it bad. In terms of that September can not come soon enough. (SIGH) I guess that I have to wait. Go Hokies!!

I never cared either. In fact, I would make fun of people (like my brother) who went to all the Tech games, even though they didn't even go to Tech. All that changed after I went to a few games last year (thanks Joel and Steve) and caught the fever. Now I have a season ticket and can't wait for the first game!
Yes I must admit I have the fever as well! But then SEC fans always have the fever because they ARE #1! But a good friend reminded me of somthing very true the other day...you never have to defend the truth it stands for itself :)

Absolutely, I am definitely in for couple games. Of course, if we play SEC vs ACC you might be a little lonely. :)
