Is this wrong?

Like all homeowners associations (I assume) mine has a policy about how long you can let your grass grow. However they seem to be slow to actually do anything about it. Last year I did get one of their letters stating that I needed to mow my lawn by some date otherwise they would mow it for me and charge me some money. Admittedly my lawn was up to my knees so I mowed it.

Well now my grass is getting pretty long and I am not going to have a chance to mow it any time soon. So I am thinking about making an anonymous phone call or sending an anonymous letter to them complaining about my own lawn. Then I’ll let things take their course and pay them to mow it. I think their cost was very reasonable and it would save me a lot of time and effort.

Is this wrong?

LOL!!

No, I don't think it's wrong since you'll be paying for it anyway. It is very creative though.

silly boy!! I think you should contract with your new roommate a deal that would reduce his rent :)

I think your new roommate's girlfriend ought to mow it as a thank you for helping her boyfriend move closer - after all she should have move free time now that she's not commuting to Roanoke so often...

Brilliant! Your talents are clearly going to waste.

I can only assume your new roomie is completely happy with the projected contract agreement. And due to his limited free time, he can only promise you that his dog(Gris) will consume the occasional blade of grass. : )
