Internet dating update

I figured it was time to update you on my progress in the online dating front. Quite frankly it is not going well at all. I have corresponded with a few woman and even been on dates with two women. Other than that, not so good.

I am not bothered that I have not met the women of my dreams yet. From the many pictures I have seen there are definitely many of them out there. What is frustrating me is a lack of response from the thousands of women I have contacted so far. I send them nice friendly little messages like, "Hey baby, what's your sign?", "Hey little girl, want some candy? Cause I could be your sugar daddy." or "Do you come here often?". Strangely they don't respond. They don't even take the few moments to send a polite response such as "You are ugly, go away." or "I have taken out a restraining order." as a few of the women have done. (SIGH) I guess true love does take time. Oh well, time to widen my search radius to include California. Wish me luck.

In all seriousness this is what annoys me most about this process. Of course I have not contacted thousands but I would say in the last couple months I have probably written 20-25 women. I would bet that I have gotten a reply, yes or no, from about five. It is truly ok that they are not interested in me but it would be nice if they just said so in a polite short response. Oh well.
