Masters degrees; Mimosas and Moma Rosa’s
Friday night we headed out to celebrate Monica successfully defending her Masters thesis. Congratulation Monica, I am so very happy for you. I got to meet some new people and hold a beautiful little girl named Malayna. Before you get any ideas Malayna is a little over three months old and is a beautiful little girl. After dinner Malayna went home and we moved on from The Cellar to The Rivermill, Big Al’s, The Underground and Sharkey’s. In the end most of the group was either drunk or tipsy so a good time was had by all.
Saturday morning we got up and prepared for the game. Due to weather concerns we did not actually go out and tailgate. We did however follow through on our meal plan of French toast, sausage, Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Moma Rosa’s pizza. Yummmmm….
Last night I was lying in bed flipping channels before going to sleep. I paused briefly on the Country Music Channel and saw something I never thought that I would ever see. They were airing a county music concert and whom should I see but Kid Rock singing Queen’s Fat Bottomed Girls in a country style. While I have to admit that it sounded pretty good there is just something wrong about that combination.

Malayna misses you already! I agree, Friday was a good time.
Don't forget Cinco De Mayo... we made it there too :) A fun time with a great group!!
Thanks for coming out Joel! Malayna looked pretty comfortable hanging out with you!!
I think Joel is on Malayna's PCL! :) Thanks for taking care of her Joel! I'd love to join you in a coffee shop soon to discuss what to do with life...
Thanks for the great pre-game breakfast. It seemed to ward off the hangover that I deserved but didn't get.
