BBall Update – 3-2

First I just have to say, IT SNOWING!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!! Ok, now that I got that out of the way....

Well it’s been a quiet week in..... oh wait that’s something else.

Thursday practice went pretty well. It seemed to start off hectic so I was worried that it would be another wasted attempt. Jillian took four of them to work on passing and getting open. I took the rest and played horse. (I got the better end of the deal.) At the end, like we do every week, we scrimmaged the other team that practices there. Our little guys played pretty darn good. They really played much better and I was very proud of them.

Last night we had our weekly game and we were anxious to see how they would do. Would they play like they had Thursday or slip back to before that? We lost our last two games and I did not want to lose another. Well we won, 19-8. It helped that the other team really was not that good but our guys played really well. They pretty much did what they were taught. They were awesome. I am very very proud of them.

Gavin gets a star for wanting to stay in the game for the first time since we started this whole thing. Alex R gets a star for his defense. Zachary gets a star even though he missed the game because he was at the dance. (He wasn’t with the original girl he planned to go with but he had found a different girl to go with.) Austin gets a star for bringing up fuzzy pickles. (don’t ask)
