Square Dancing

March 4th. Mark it on your calendar now because you will be going. It is the first Saturday of March.

Last night I met Eileen and a couple of her friends at the Old Bburg Middle School for square dancing. This group called NROT holds a dance there on the first Saturday of every month. I had so much fun. I am not a big dancer and I have not square danced in at least fifteen/twenty plus years. There was probably forty-fifty people there of all ages from little kids to people much older than I. And the skill levels ranged from never do it to quite experienced. One fun thing about square dancing is that you switch partners a lot so I got to meet different people throughout the evening. We danced from 8 to 11pm and by the end I was worn out.

I think that all of you will enjoy this so plan to be there. I’ll send a reminder. Some of the same people do the Contra dancing in Floyd which is next Saturday. I am thinking about going to that as well. If you are interested let me know.
