Fully Committed

Lorree, Robert and I went to see the play Fully Committed at the Mill Mountain Theater.We loved it. The gist of the play is that it is about an aspiring actor who works the reservation phone line in an upscale restaurant in New York City. He has to deal with a wide variety of customers calling, friends, family, his agent and the staff of the restaurant including the temperamental chef. The play is a one man play and he does both his own character and the voices, and to some extent the characters, of all the people he talks to. This might seem to be a problem but he does such an excellent job at it using different tones and accents that it is very easy to follow what is going on.

The play was very funny and if you have some time this weekend I recommend going to see it. Unfortunately it only runs through February 4th. Enjoy.
