Run baby, run

Yesterday Ian napped for a little over three hours. Usually he naps for right about two hours. After getting over some initial crankiness immediately after waking, all afternoon and evening he seemed to have boundless energy. As bedtime neared I thought to myself that we needed to get some of the energy out. Sitting on the couch I jokingly suggested to Ian that he run around the living room for a bit and he did. For the next ten-fifteen minutes he simply ran around in a large circle laughing and giggling like this was the best thing he had ever done.

Ahh, the simple things in life.
