Last football hurrah (for this season anyway)

It’s 4pm and I am still hung over. Let’s back up a little.

I hope that you all enjoyed the Tday holiday. I wandered up to the DC area to celebrate with friends which was a nice way to spend a few days.

As you all know last night was Tech’s final regular season football game. Sam and Robert came up to hang out and enjoy the evening with me and approximately 65,000 of our closest friends. The game was of course great.

After the game Sam went home while Robert and I met up with Jilian. She led us to one of her friend’s tailgate where we would stay until about 4-5am* drinking and socializing with some very nice people. I did my best to help drain the keg although I am not sure if that was accomplished. Fortunately a sober gentleman was kind enough to give the three of us a ride home. (I wanted to call Monica for a ride but Jilian said no.) After being dropped off Robert and I ended up talking for some time before heading to sleep around 5-6am.* At noon I woke up and left the bedroom long enough to say goodbye to Robert as he headed home. At 3pm I woke up again and decided I should really get out of bed.

I had a good time yesturday but I am paying for it today. I was planning to run but I think that I’ll have to skip that. I think I might go back to bed. :)

* I am not surprisingly a little unclear as to when we actually left. I think that it might really have been on the latter side of the estimates but what does it really matter.

For the record, the keg was drained...

Fun night - I really enjoyed the bonfire. I think we might have been the last tailgate of the season...
