Eileen is awesome

So it appears that Eileen is definitely in for the Flying Pig. Barry seems to want to take a wait and see approach. He is going to train for it but does not want to commit fully.

This weekend our training plan has us doing an eight mile run. Due to schedules Barry and I were supposed to do the run today and Eileen and I were going to do the run tomorrow morning. Due to weather and sickness Barry and I were unable to run today. Later in the day Eileen called to say that she was not going to be able to run in the morning but that she was in the mood to run right now and would I feel like joining her. Unfortunately my cell phone was off as I was otherwise occupied so I did not get her message in time. However that did not stop her at all. She went out on her own and ran eight miles through the wet snow all by herself. I am soooooooooo happy for her.

I talked to her when she got back and she is pretty sure that she will be sore tomorrow but she was happy and rightfully proud of herself.

Barry – we definitely have to do eight now. :)
