That absolutely wonderful tag line belongs to Odyssey Adventure Racing. I came across them while reading the magazine Blue Ridge Outdoors. They organize many different types of races, adventure, triathlons, duathlons, etc…, mostly out of Douthat State Park, VA. (That should make the Chewies happy)

The event that interested me is the Kentucky 12hr Adventure Race. What caught my eye was that it offers mountain biking, trail running, paddling, and non-technical caving. It can be a team event so Eileen can do the caving part. I don’t own a mountain bike so someone else can do that. I’ll do either the running or paddling. What do you say? Are you in? Well, maybe next year. We might be a tad late in preparing for this year.

However there is time to train for the Beast of the East. Who is in?
